Maria Okan Recounts Pregnancy And Alleged Abandonment By Olamide

Olamide’s alleged baby mama Maria Okan has said that the rapper refused the responsibility for their child.

According to her, he refused to acknowledge and accept responsibility for her daughter.

Maria Okan, the supposed mother, said that in 2019, while still carrying the child, she moved to the UK and reestablished her life and job.

Taking to Instagram the OAP boasted about being one of the most in-demand presenters in the UK.

“This is the story of a lady who relocated to the UK from Nigeria pregnant with her 1st child.
Halfway through her pregnancy, she discovered she’d have to raise her child alone.” she posted on her Instagram account.

She learned she would have to raise her child by herself halfway through her pregnancy.

Maria Okan began her career from scratch in the UK after giving birth to her daughter.
She is currently the producer and host of BBC1xtra’s first-ever AFROBEATS NEWS ROUNDUP.

Many viewers were shocked to learn that Olamide had a baby mother, while others criticised Maria Okan for dating a man who was already engaged at the time the video went viral.

Maria Okan tweeted in response to allegations that she had been paid to kill her child. Her IG post, which detailed how she discovered she would be raising her child alone months into her pregnancy, was shared hours before she sent out her tweet.

The tweet reads,”Good morning I was never OFFERED, I never ASKED, nor did I RECEIVE money to murder a child. I heard that story for the 1st time when you all did – when I was 8 months You say I made the wrong choice to carry life, and I should’ve opted for murder? Pele. I love motherhood.”

She continued,”At the time those nonsense stories came out, I chose to focus on delivering my child since I had a high-risk pregnancy and a fibroid that practically exploded a few months in. But as she is safe and sound now, there’s no pressure. We thank God.

Emphasising she said,”And for the record, no one gave me any stinking money for an abortion. As a mother, when you carry a child and deliver her by the Grace of God, you will know how insulting this is and has been.”
