Mavin records Ayra Starr still basking in the glory of the success of her hit song ‘Rush’ revealed on Twitter tips she had used in performances before she became well-known.

In a tweet, Ayra Starr stated that she used to invite her loved ones to her performances so they could join in on her songs and “ginger” her.

The Rush singer noted that she would take her family and friends to her concerts for morale support perhaps the crowd is not familiar with her song, “they would help me scream my songs and ginger the audience. Sapa nice one.”

Ayra recently broke a record by being the first female musician from Nigeria to have multiple No. 1 songs in her native country. Rush, her smash hit single, had 4.66 million streaming and a radio audience of 40.3 million.

Since Bloody Samaritan peaked at No. 1 back in 2021, no female artist has reached the top of a chart in Nigeria until Rush debuted at No. 1. The longest time ever without a female artist having a No. 1 single is 40 weeks.
