Meet The Cast Of Lara And The Beat

Lara And The Beat, talks about two sisters, Lara Giwa played by Seyi Shay and Dara Giwa played by Somkele Iyamah that were stripped of their wealth due to a financial scandal that ruins their father’s empire. Through music and enterprise, they set out to restore what they had lost.

The film is produced by Biola Alabi Media and features seasoned Nollywood actors like Chioma Akpotha, Uche Jumbo Rodriguez, Shaffy Bello, Chinedu Ikedieze and musicians like Vector and Seyi Shay who is playing her first lead role in a Nollywood film.

Seyi Shay plays Lara Giwa in the Lara and the Beat." She is a musician. She won City People Entertainment Awards for Best New Musician of the Year in 2013. This is her first lead role in a Nollywood film.

Shaffy Bello played Jide's mum in Lara and The Beat. She has featured in other films .

Chinedu Ikedieze plays Big Chi in Lara and the Beat. He has featured in other Nollywood films and plays Efe Johnson in The Johnsons.

Deyemi Okanlawon played Cashflow in the film Lara and the Beat. He first made his debut in 2010 in the film ZR-7 and has since featured in other films like A few Good Men and Gidi Up.
