MIKOLO’ introduces its viewers to the enchanting world of Funke (Pamilerin Ayodeji) and Habeeb (Fiyinfoluwa Asenuga), two spirited kids whose curiosity leads them on an extraordinary holiday adventure to their grandma’s countryside home in Ondo.
As they explore the rugged landscapes of the mountains, they inadvertently unlock a door to a realm brimming with magic and wonder. Here, they cross paths with the enigmatic creature named MIKOLO, an encounter that alters the course of their lives.
This Niyi Akinmolayan film seamlessly intertwines the everyday joys of childhood exploration with the fantastical elements of a magical realm in a very Nigerian world. Viewers are transported alongside Funke and Habeeb as they navigate a world where the ordinary becomes extraordinary, and the line between reality and fantasy blurs.
