AfroGroove artiste, ajofé, recently hosted a star-studded house party in Ikoyi, Lagos, drawing a cross-section of Nigeria’s entertainment industry, digital creators and media personalities.

The exclusive gathering, held at a private residence in the highbrow area, brought together notable figures including popular TikToker, Purple Speedy, and Big Brother Naija Season 10 star, Jason Jae, alongside several artistes, A&Rs, and creative professionals.

The event was powered by entertainment distribution platform Plug Centro, while creative direction was handled by designers Yemi and Jimmy Animashaun, popularly known as FunkyPlutoDynasty, whose works have shaped visual identities for artistes like Ycee and Seyi Vibes.

Also involved in the production was event specialist Asmau Ibrahim, known for her work on major Nigerian productions on Trace TV, with Bright Star Creative Media providing content coverage.

Jason Jae, who anchored the event, engaged guests with interactive music sessions built around ajofé’s catalogue, including his latest single titled Anti-Farmer and unreleased tracks from his forthcoming project, Lucid IV. The games encouraged participation, turning attendees into active contributors to the music experience.

One of the highlights of the night was the “Anti-Farmer Room,” sponsored by peer-to-peer lending platform Urgent2K. The activation featured a barcode-based reward system where guests selected cards, scanned them, and won cash prizes ranging from ₦10,000 to ₦1m. Winners were also required to create promotional content for the single, effectively amplifying its reach online.

Other sponsors included TwelfthMan Studios, Gangmates, Tickex and AmeboRated.

The event also attracted top industry executives and A&Rs such as Chopper Chops of Dvpper, Darasimi of MixNaija, and Peter Fawole of WAC People, as well as media personalities from TVC, WAP TV, Soundcity and RAVE TV.

On the fashion front, ajofé was styled by Simeon Black, who has worked with top artistes including Olamide, Davido, Tekno and Mr Eazi. Also present was Pancho, stylist to Don Jazzy.

The event further featured appearances from fellow BBNaija Season 10 housemates, influencers, filmmakers and emerging artistes, reinforcing its status as one of the most talked-about private industry gatherings in Lagos this year.

For ajofé, the party served not just as a social event but as a strategic rollout platform, blending music, technology and audience participation to deepen engagement with his growing fanbase.
