Naira Diary has officially opened its nomination portal for the highly anticipated Naira Diary Impact (NDI) Awards 2023.

The aim of the Awards, according to the organisers, is to recognise and celebrate individuals and organisations making positive impacts in Nigeria, through social initiatives, community projects, advocacy, and innovations.
Opened for nominations on August 1, 2023, Nigerians have the opportunity of nominating their favorite impactful individuals and organisations.

The founder of Naira Diary, Henshaw Jacobson, who shared the exciting news on his Instagram page, encouraged everyone to take part in celebrating those who are making a lasting impact on Nigerian society.

The award categories covered various fields, including Most Impactful Actor, Actress, Music Artiste, Entrepreneur, Comedian, Influencer, Politician, Media Personality, Pastor, Content Creator, NGO, Bank, Radio Station, TV Station, and Company/Brand.

Said he: “You have the freedom to nominate as many individuals and organisations as you wish, and they can be nominated in multiple categories.

“The aim of Naira Diary Impact Awards is to recognise and celebrate individuals and organisations making positive impacts in Nigeria, through social initiatives, community projects, advocacy, and innovations.”

Jacobson said a portion of what the project seeks to achieve is to reinstate the mindset that the country needs more heroes, and in addition to recognising and appreciating the heroes. “This award would also highlight the works of such individuals, groups, and entities.”

“So, if you know someone or an organisation that’s making positive strides in Nigeria, don’t hesitate to submit your nominations. Let’s celebrate those who are shaping a brighter future for our country.”

The NDI Awards ceremony will take place in October in Lagos.
