Rap royals LL Cool J, Nicki Minaj and Jack Harlow would host the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards.

The trio will serve as the show’s hosts and announce its stellar list of artists, which will include BLACKPINK, J Balvin, Lizzo, and Panic! at the Disco. Additionally, the trio will introduce the evening’s prominent presenters and deserved recipients.

At the 1991 Video Music Awards, LL Cool J, at 54, won the Best Rap Video Moonman for his popular song “Mama Said Knock You Out.” He also received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award in 1997.

Nicki Minaj, co-host and resident of Queens, will make her first performance at this year’s event since 2018.

The 17-time VMA nominee will also receive the Video Vanguard award at the 2022 VMAs.

Rapper Harlow, who is the most nominated artist with an incredible seven nominations, including honors in prestigious categories like Artist of the Year and Video of the Year, is scheduled to perform for the first time at the VMAs solo.
