On Tuesday, the Shake Body singer posted videos and pictures of himself and his mother to his Instagram page, where he also revealed the passing of his mother.
Skales referred to his mother as his angel and said that she would be missed.
The musician continued by saying that his mother’s passing “hurt” him.
“MY ANGEL, I will miss you forever,” he wrote as the caption for the photos. “It hurts”.
Meanwhile, the musician has received sympathy messages for his loss from other celebs and fans.
“May her soul rest in perfect peace. May God comfort you and family during this time.” Tiwa Savage prayed. May God comfort you and family during this time.”
Goya Amenor, also consoled Skales on the passing of his mother.
Afrobeat superstar Davido added, “We dey for you,” in response.
Public figures like Seyivibez, Seyi Awolowo, and Toolz Oniru offered their condolences to the rapper in the comment area following the passing of his mother.
Skales, a native of the Edo state, was born in Kaduna and was reared solely by his mother, who worked odd jobs to raise and educate him.
