Big Brother Naija All Stars winner, Ilebaye Odiniya, has raised concern among fans after she appeared distressed in a live video that surfaced on social media in the early hours of Saturday.
In the video, the reality television star was seen crying and calling for help during what appeared to be an assault by some men.
Ilebaye, who had visible swelling on her face, repeatedly pleaded with people around her to assist her.
“Come and open the door, I want to be going,” she said in part of the video.
At another point, she was heard screaming, “Please come and help me.”
The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear as of the time of filing this report.
It has also not been confirmed whether the matter has been reported to the police.
The video has since sparked reactions online, with fans expressing concern over her safety and demanding a proper investigation.
Ilebaye and her management have yet to release an official statement on the incident.
Ilebaye rose to fame after winning the 2023 Big Brother Naija All Stars edition.
She became the third female winner of the reality show after Mercy Eke and Phyna.
Her victory came after a difficult season in which she faced criticism, backlash and claims that she was playing the victim.
Despite the odds, she gained strong public support and won the N120m grand prize.
Before her All Stars win, Ilebaye had been evicted early from the BBNaija Season 7 Level Up edition.
Her return and eventual victory in the All Stars season was widely seen as a major comeback.
The edition featured former housemates from different seasons, with 20 contestants initially competing for the prize before six finalists made it to the grand finale.
