Police Check on Britney Spears After Knife Dance Video

On September 27, 2023, police reportedly visited Britney Spears’ home in Thousand Oaks to conduct a wellness checkup, after receiving a call about a “disturbance.” The call came after Spears posted a video on social media of herself dancing with knives.

In the video, Spears is seen spinning and twirling two large knives, seemingly unaware of the danger she is putting herself in. At one point, she even drops one of the knives, but quickly picks it back up and continues dancing. The video sparked widespread concern among fans and the media. Many people are worried that Spears may be experiencing another mental health crisis, especially given her history of struggles.

Spears took to Instagram to inform fans of her safety. She said: “I know I spooked everyone with the last post, but these are fake knives that my team rented from Hand Prop shop in LA.
