Controversial street-pop artist Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has turned down a ₦100 million offer to engage in a physical fight with social media commentator Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), demanding a ₦1 billion fee instead.

In a viral video making the rounds online, Portable dismissed the offer as too small, claiming such sums are regularly gifted to him by fans.

“That ₦100m, my fans give it to me. ₦100m is small for me to fight VDM. Let them give me one billion, I will fight him and beat him,” he declared.

The ongoing feud between Portable and VDM intensified after the singer criticised the activist for his comments against President Bola Tinubu’s administration. Since then, both have traded insults, diss tracks, and accusations across various social media platforms.

“If anybody can drop ₦1bn, I will fight him,” Portable said. “Someone you can’t hold, you are now asking me to fight and beat him. You are scared of him, you can’t jail him.”

The exchange has drawn wide attention online, adding another layer of drama to Nigeria’s social media and celebrity landscape.
