For those with keen ears for authentic sounds, the music of Prince Spido has been quite intriguing.

Although it is easy to quickly right off most of the new generation music in Nigeria as half-done, poorly written and grossly immoral, this R&B, Afrobeats singer Prince Spido has seen a blazing career since his last Ep. in 2019.

Though his love for music began in his much younger years at the church, he couldn’t hide or be buried under the huge volume of school work.

Prince is an Atlanta-resident Nigerian Afrofusion artiste. He spent most of 2019 touring Europe with Nigerian Mainstream Artists and shared the stage at Burna Boy’s iconic Wembley Arena concert in London.

The multifaceted artist and “Nigerian Afro Prince,” as he describes himself, decided to make dark shades his signature, With His Ep that Made it to the Top 100 Nigerian Apple music Chart, he Decided to Take Bold steps into Afrobeats, with Big Plans in the Music Industry Prince Drives his Career as an Independent Artist with no Label Affiliation and He is Currently Working on His Project featuring other Nigerian mainstream Artists.

By spotlighting different influences, Prince is giving Western audiences a glimpse into lesser-known sides of Nigerian history, while reminding Nigerians that their culture is to be celebrated, always. “That’s what Pan-Africanism means to me: it’s about being proud of my culture. It’s about being proud of being African.”
