Former Mr. Universe, singer, and actor Slami Ifeanyi was killed in Umubere, Akwa, the state capital of Anambra.

The 31-year-old songwriter was attacked and killed while operating his recently purchased vehicle.

The singer was attacked, according to a close friend of the musician who spoke about the incident.

He said that the incident happened when Slami was driving a car he had just bought. He said, “Although we don’t know why he was attacked it looks like a targeted attack.”

Slami combined Afropop, Highlife, and RnB  in his sound, which he deployed to amuse his audience. Slami was a Nigerian music musician.

Along with being a singer, Slami was also a model, an actor, and the creator of the SLAMI EMPIRE, which ran ANAMBRA GOT TALENT.

Reactions to his death have persisted on social media, particularly Facebook.
