Makeup Tips For Oily Skin
If you battle with oily skin, then you already know that the struggle is real out here. With oily skin, makeup can very easily go from fleek to fail in just a matter of seconds. Sometimes, the way it happens is like film trick. Your face becomes darker, your T zone shines bright like a diamond and your crease looks like the you cried inwards and it stuck to your lids.
If you’re tired of oily skin hindering your makeup greatness, here are a few tip you can use –
Primer Selection
Use a super light weight primer. Also a primer without silicone is really good for your skin.
Foundation Tips
Apply a light dusting of powder on your face after your moisturizer, and before your foundation. Apply your foundation as normal, and then gently pat on more powder to finish.
Powder
Some people think adding more powder to your skin would help reduce the appearance of your oily skin, but that doesn’t really help. You will only end up looking ashy, and you don’t want that. Just apply a reasonable amount.
For your eyes
If you are going without your eye shadow today, you should use a translucent powder for your crease to avoid that oily look. If you use a cream eye shadow, a translucent powder would also help it stay in place.
Blotting Paper
Use this when you start shining like Rudolf. This will help you avoid adding more powder. You can also make blotting papers from toilet seat covers by cutting them into small squares. 100 blotting papers for you for less.
Hydrate
Drink water ladies. We can never overemphasize the importance of drinking enough water. It will help with the oily skin, regardless of the makeup you have on.
