The preconceived idea of a bride is elegant, girly, appropriately skin toned, a picture perfect princess, wearing her long flowing gown smiling to her Prince Charming on her beautiful day.
The quest of being happy is for everybody. Every woman, no matter her color, height, stature or figure, deserves that heavenly and desirable look on her beautiful day.
A few people in our society today are seen as “unusual”, if you may say. This “Unusual-ness” could be because of their non-conformity to the generally stipulated norms of what beauty is, or their natural physical differences. Sometimes, it’s their social, educational, and even financial background that makes them unusual to others. What an unusual world to term “special” as “Unusual”.
It is against this background that I and a few creatives show off our unusual brides. They are people who are beautiful in their own ways; confident, happy, highly self-motivated and grand achievers in their different fields. These set of people have proven themselves to be resourceful, independent, special and anything but unusual, contrary to popular opinion.
