Singer Tavern is the most adorable little restaurant and bar located in Old street, London. Close to Shoredich which is one of the various ‘hip’, ‘cool’ & ‘creative’ parts of London; glazed with bubbling youth culture and a vibe of excitement and opportunity.

Honestly, my love for this place stems purely from the interior aesthetic of it. I mean look at it, the detailing is absolutely amazing!

I found this place while location hunting for a shoot I was planning at the end of last year and now I go there pretty regularly. When I’m looking for good company, a conversation or just a good old fashion English meal.

I’m a sucker for wooden interiors and pretty much anything that has a warm colour palette. So when I saw the cream and green tiles through the windows from outside I was so excited to go in. It almost felt like whoever designed the interior had me in mind. The colour and indoor greenery – palm leaves and green/white green – made me feel a lot like I was back home. Being someone whose life revolves around imagery, a place that’s properly lit makes me feel calm and satisfied.
