Bryant’s widow Vanessa Bryant took to social media to pay tribute to her late husband on his special day with an emotional video.

She shared the video of Bryant’s stunning last game were he dropped 60 points in his last game on an NBA court.

In her caption about the video, she talked about his work ethic, family life, and how his untimely death is just simply not fair.

She wrote:

“My husband worked his ass off for 20 years. Gave it his all. All he wanted was to spend time with our girls and me to make up for lost time. He wanted to be there for every single milestone and special moment in our girl’s lives,” Vanessa began.

She continued,

“He only got to enjoy 3 years and 9 months of retirement. We had 2 more daughters, he won an Oscar, he opened Granity studios, he became a 5x best selling author and coached Gianna’s basketball team in that time. She worked hard and gave her all 7 days a week just like her daddy.”

Vanessa ended her message with an emotional plea about the death of her husband and daughter, saying,

“I wish I could back to that morning, every day. I wish they had a normal local game on 1/26. Life truly isn’t fair. This is just senseless.”

Bryant alongside his daughter Gianna and seven others died on January 26 in a helicopter crash.  The crash occurred in Calabassa, Southern California.

In his career, Bryant won 5 NBA Championship titles, clinched the NBA Finals MVP twice, won the Olympic gold medal with the United States, was an 18-time All-Star, 15-time member of the All-NBA Team, finished as a 12-time All-Defense Team member, and to showcase his scoring prowess, won the season’s scoring accolades twice.
