Emerging Nigerian artist, Viktor Snipes, is set to release his debut compilation project dubbed, “S2DNi,” later this month.

The 6-track extended playlist (EP), is a vibrant blend of Afro-pop/Hip-hop that reflects heavily on youthful exuberance, lifestyle and growth.

“On this project, I tried to showcase all parts of who I am as a person – the good, the bad and the ugly. This project is honest, this project is me. I focused more on telling my own story and painting my own portrait as opposed to conforming,” he said.

The EP also features British-Nigerian artiste, Kida Kudz, on the youthful bop dubbed, Energy. Other songs on the project are Snipes’ solos, which reflect his strength as a lyricist – an overall pleasure point on this playlist.

The “S2DNi” EP feels particularly vibrant for its multifaceted nature as both a feel-good playlist, as well as a commentary on the realities common among the youth.

Prior to his musical baptism, Snipes had been in the music scene as a Disc Jockey (DJ) until last year when he released his single, Soro Soke, in tandem with the socio-political realities at that time. The song became a viral sensation, piloting Snipes further into the limelight.

“S2DNi” is set for release across all digital streaming platforms on the 27th August.
