Emerging Nigerian singer and music producer VSTAR MA is set to release a Gospel EP titled “God Only”.
The 4-track gospel EP is VSTAR MA’s debut project which he says was made to minister the word of God and the love of God to music lovers.
VSTAR MA is also the founder of Grace Boy Records. The Afrobeats producer says that he was inspired to make his first project a gospel EP as a way of dedicating his music career to God.
God Only Ep features production from VSTAR MA, Mixta JBASS and Icepondis.
VSTAR MA grew up listening to church music, which he says is comforting. His music journey started when he started remaking popular songs.
“I started remixing songs, I remix Gongo Aso by 9ice and Aiye by Davido but I didn’t record it then because there’s no knowledge of going to the studio back then, I started recording songs professionally in 2015 and I always feel like music is part of me,” he says.
As far as collaboration goes, VSTAR MA says his dream is to collaborate with Davido and Wizkid.
‘God Only’ Ep will be out on the 21st of September.
