Watch: Cassper Nyovest Reiterates Support For LGBT Community
The award-winning South African rapper, Cassper Nyovest has denied allegations that he is homophobic.
The Baby Girl crooner said he has no problem with gay or bisexual people and went on to disclose that he once performed at Gay pride for free.
His reiteration for the community with an alternative lifestyle is coming after a Twitter user identified as Mattyyonce alleged that the rapper made a derogatory remark to a member of the LGBTIQ community who asked to take a picture with him.
”So I met @CassperNyovest the other day and after our encounter he said “no homo”. This is the guy who performed at gay pride. A hyper masculine statement to reaffirm his hetero status. After that he’s goons giggled- very humiliating.”
Denying the allegations via a video he shared on Twitter, he tweeted,
”I performed at Gay pride for free.”
