Nigerian rapper and actor, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has stirred speculation about a possible marriage after posting photos that looked like traditional introduction shots.

The award-winning entertainer shared the pictures on his Instagram page on Thursday, posing with a lady while dressed in attire often linked with family introduction ceremonies.

Falz further fueled the conversation with a cryptic caption that read, “It’s been a long time coming, and having to do this with you is one of the best decisions of my life. :heart::woman::skin-tone-5::heart::man::skin-tone-5: First of all, introduction…”

The post quickly generated mixed reactions online. While some fans and celebrities rushed to congratulate him, others suggested it could be another creative stunt from the rapper, who is known for blending humour, storytelling and music promotion.

Celebrities, colleagues and fans filled the comment section with messages of excitement. Brand influencer Jennie Frank also joined the list of well-wishers, writing, “I’m screaminggg, Congratulations.”

As at press time, Falz had not clarified if the photos signified a real-life introduction ceremony or a project teaser, leaving fans guessing about whether wedding bells are truly ringing.
