Sean Combs’ mother, Janice Smalls Combs, has come out in defense of her son, accusing the world of a “public lynching” based on “lies.”

The 83-year-old released a statement on Sunday night, her first public comments since her son was arrested on sex trafficking and racketeering charges in September.
Combs’ mom is pleading for people to hear her son’s side of the story, claiming prosecutors are using a past settlement with his ex-girlfriend as “proof of guilt.” She said, “My son is not the monster they have painted him to be.”

Sean Combs is currently behind bars without bail, awaiting trial on serious charges. He’s also facing a dozen civil lawsuits from women who claim sexual assault. The alleged incidents date back decades.
Last week, a lawyer announced representing over 120 accusers, including a nine-year-old boy who claims he was forced to perform oral sex on Combs. Janice Combs dismisses these claims as “lies” motivated by money, not justice.

Janice insists the truth has been twisted. She fears her son may be wrongfully convicted due to past errors.
She called on the public to withhold judgment until they hear Sean Combs’ side of the story. “I can only pray that I am alive to see him speak his truth and be vindicated,” she added.
