“Live Again” outreach provides fresh start and empowerment for over 500 women

Enifome Ogbimi, the MD of Fogg Solutions and ED of Live Again Foundation recently hosted the “Live Again” outreach, bringing hope, healing and empowerment to over 500 women facing challenges such as trauma, abuse, societal pressures, stress or personal setbacks. This transformative gathering provided comfort and support through a range of activities tailored to women’s needs.

From the moment they walked in, attendees felt a sense of warmth and acceptance. They were guided through coaching and therapy sessions that helped them find strength and new perspectives. Legal experts were on hand to answer their pressing questions, while medical checkups and free medications provided essential care.

The event was marked by deep emotional connections as women shared their experiences of hardship and triumph. Many found freedom from their struggles, buoyed by a newfound sense of community and support. Enifome herself was moved by the powerful testimonies and heartfelt embraces exchanged throughout the day.

Attendees received practical support in the form of clothes, makeup, photography, food, and books, as well as uplifting messages on placards like “I am Loved by God,” “It is Time to Live Again,” and “My Past Doesn’t Define Me.” These small gestures reinforced a sense of self-worth and confidence among the women.

The event’s success was bolstered by partnerships with companies such as Nestle, Oriki, HR GEMS Coach Network, Mirus events, Flour Mills of Nigeria, Alden Solicitors, Akorede Portraits, Zaron, Rapid TV, BellaNaija, and more. These collaborations helped provide critical resources and opportunities to the women.

In a beautiful display of generosity, 20 women were awarded grants of 100,000 naira each to help them rebuild their lives and pursue their dreams. This financial aid offered them a fresh start and the chance to create meaningful change.

Looking ahead, there will be a post-event session featuring more extensive coaching, therapy, and workshops, focusing on personal and professional development, skill acquisition and business support to further empower women. This next phase will build on the foundation established by the “Live Again” outreach.

The transformative impact of “Live Again” outreach is undeniable, as it brought hope and new beginnings to those who attended, providing them with the strength and tools to overcome adversity. This event stands as a powerful reminder of the strength of community and the importance of coming together to lift one another up. The event’s legacy will continue to ripple through society, inspiring future collaborations and partnerships that empower women and create a positive impact on the community.
