Mayor of Urhoboland hails Tinubu for appointing Gbajabiamila as Chief of Staff

The Mayor of Urhoboland, Eshanakpe Israel a.k.a Akpodoro has congratulated the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila on his appointment as the Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing the appointment as best for the nation.

This was contained in a speech delivered by the Israel in Abuja at a well attended meeting of stakeholders in the Niger Delta project.


He said with appointment of the Speaker, all is set for the current administration to hit the ground running, noting that Nigerians don’t expect less from the Presidnet being a thorough bred politician who noted grew from the ranks.

According to Israel, Gbajabiamila has shown enough proof to be trusted with such exalted position, having served at the masters table over the years without blemish, adding that the lawmaker deserves the coveted position for the reason of having paid his dues in politics.

Israel said Gbajabiamila is impeccable in character with very high moral probity and as a statesman that he is, Nigerians expects excellent service delivery from him and nothing less.

He said Gbajabiamila’s uniqueness and excellent disposition to national issues helped him to steers the ship of the green chambers in the last four years, which culminated into the “huge success achieved by the 9th Assemly as against the confrontational and antagonist show of shame exuded by the 8th Assemly.

Israel called on the new CoS to bring to bear in the seat of power, saying with Gbejabiamila in the presidency, the National stability and cohesion craved by all will take no time to achieved.

He stressed further that, with the quality of the Speaker as a detribalised Nigerians, Gbajabiamila will be able to galvanise support for the President across the broad spectrum of the Nigerian political space by ensuring masses oriented policies, programme and also lead the President aright at all times.

Israel called on the new CoS to see Nigeria as one Constituency and serve all equally in the spirit and letter of what Tinubu stands for national cohesion and solidarity.

He also solicited for a more developed and prosperous nation, particularly the Niger Delta region, while expressing that hope will be renewed under the new administration, noting the past failures of leadeship that had deviled the region will soon be a thing of the past.

He called on Nigerians to support the new Chief of Staff and the entire administration for a greater people and nation.
