The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), yesterday, said that Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, has demonstrated capacity and competence to advance the course of democracy and good governance in the state.

IPAC Chairman, Edwin Alor, stated this during an expanded and extraordinary meeting of the group, saying that the governor had within a short while in office enhanced security, stopped the Monday sit-at-home, as well as addressing the infrastructural gaps, among other pertinent issues in the state.

He stated that the group, which binds representatives of all registered political parties in the state, had monitored events since the inception of Mbah’s administration last year, and was convinced that he had remained focused in his manifesto to move the state forward.
“Let me register it formally, even for the purposes of records that Enugu is richly blessed with Mbah, who has demonstrated a heightened competence and capacity to advance the course of our state.

“Today, despite variations in political party membership and interests, we have been able to establish a common front at playing a strategic advisory role and lending maximum support to the current administration in the state for good performance,” he stated.
