As The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries ends its yearly programme tagged: “Mgbidi 2024 Lagos Experience,” today at the church’s headquarters in Ijesha, Lagos, one person that will never forget in a hurry her encounter with the God of Chosen is Mrs. Chisom Anaka, who visited the church for the first time with her seven-year-old boy, Chibuike, who was deaf and mute.
Surprisingly, as the General Overseer of the church, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, was praying for people with different ailments, her son started hearing and at the same talking. The crowd went wild with excitement and praised God.
Chibuike was not the only person that received healing, others with different ailments also received healing and deliverance, as they testified at the event.
The Guardian interviewed the mother of the seven-year-old boy. According to Mrs. Anaka, Chibuike’s problem started two years ago and the family took him to several places and hospitals to the extent that one of the doctors advised the family to go for operation and before then, that they should buy hearing aid for the boy, which they did, but the situation remained the same until she came to Mgbidi 2024 Lagos Experience on Thursday, which was the first day of the programme.
She said: “I am so happy. It is because of this hearing issue that Chibuike, a basic one pupil had to stop schooling. Since we have tried all means to no avail, I brought him here today. I am really touched and I don’t know that the God of Chosen is like this.”
Owing to this miracle, Mrs. Anaka, who is not a member of the church vowed to surrender her life to God and to the God of Chosen.
“I am not a member of Chosen, but henceforth I’m a Chosen member having seen what God has done for me in the life of my son. My mother is a woman leader here, she has been disturbing me to come, but I refused because my husband’s family belongs to the Catholic Church. God has manifested Himself physically and this is the type of proof that my husband is looking for. He likes to see things physical before he can believe. With this he will know this is not fake or stage managed miracle,” she said.
Speaking on the theme: “What God Has Determined Shall Be Done,” Part One, Muoka stressed that God cannot lie and enjoined members to have faith in His unfailing promises and they will see the manifestation of His words.
The cleric also used the occasion to announce that come next edition of the yearly Mgbidi Crusade would hold in Imo State.
