Mixagrip conducts Quran Recitation Competition in the Holy Month of Ramadan

Kalbe, a leading pharmaceutical company in Nigeria in conjunction with Orange Drugs, is proud to announce the successful completion of its Quran recitation competition during holy month of Ramadhan across the country.


The competition, which was aimed at promoting the recitation and understanding of the Quran, attracted thousands of participants from different parts of the country. The competition was conducted by Mixagrip, Nigerian household brand for cold and catarrh remedy that can also cure its side symptoms such as fever, headache, stuffy nose, and sneezing.

The competition featured two categories, the teenager and adult category. The total prize for all winners is more than millions of Naira which consists of 2 categories, teenager and adult. The grand finale of the competition was held at Sheikh Ja’afar Mahmud Adam Juma’at Mosque, Tudun Murtala – Kano, Ibadan Central Mosque – Ibadan, and Jibwis Bolari Juma’at Mosque – Gombe. The event was well attended by participants, sponsors, Muslim faithfuls and members of the community.


Speaking about the competition, Marvin Lucky, the Country Head of West Africa, said, “We are proud to conduct this competition which seeks to promote the recitation and understanding of the Quran among our youth and adults. We believe that this competition will inspire more people to read and understand the teachings of the Quran.”
