Mobosinuola flies with virtual book club in New Year

As 2024 gathers take-off speed, a multi-talented amazon with artistic fingers, Mobosinuola Asanpaola Randle, has declared that she will be flying along with her rejuvenated virtual book club.

This year, I will be relaunching Mobosinuola’s Book Club, a virtual book club showcasing books by black authors throughout the African diaspora.

Truly, Mobosinuola represents and reflects the true meaning of versatility. An entrepreneur, she is fast rising and making marks as a writer, creator, and storyteller.

She combines her artistic endeavours with her role as the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO ) of Touch of a Queen, a fashion and lifestyle brand inspired by the African culture.

She attributes her foray into writing and story-telling to talk shows, like the Oprah Winfrey Show, saying, “I love the variety, her in-depth interviews, storytelling, covering tough issues. The career of Oprah Winfrey as a media mogul, who has continued to evolve, is one of the most inspiring things to me.”

Mobosinuola writes stage plays and screen plays. In 2020, she shot a short animation film she wrote and worked on it with Lagos-based Schucks Media, Triumph, which was selected to screen at the Accra Animation Festival 2020.

The animation, according to her, was produced in Africa with most of the production taking place in Nigeria.

In doing this, she infuses her skills as a professional speaker, focusing on narratives in business, authentic storytelling, and empowering people and their communities.

On her target audience and how she reaches them, Mobosinuola says she focuses on global audience, hence her adoption of YouYube as a channel to reach the reach the world,

“On my YouTube channel, Mobosinuola, there is no topic off limits. My niche is my unique life experience and personal manifesto. Viewers can watch/hear me discuss anything from Nollywood film suggestions to smart money moves. I am very passionate about provoking thought, which subscribers get when they tune in to my content about self empowerment, relationships, and culture.”

The entertainment freak, who is also the founder and CEO of MMANSA, a beauty retailer that specializes in offering customers mid to high end and luxury black owned beauty brands from Africa and the African diaspora, her current writing was motivated by the need to discourage procrastination, by helping people to free themselves from the shackles of excuses, using herself as a case study.

An alumnus of Howard University in Washington, DC, Mobosinuola holds Bachelors in Public Relations, Journalism, and Playwriting.

With a dream from childhood to have a career in the media industry, she furthered her education to pursue a Masters degree in Media Studies.
