A few days ago, the top movie investor added to his long list of achievements, the prestigious Best Documentary award at Best of Nollywood Awards held in December 2023, beating other nominees in the category for Best Documentary of the year. Best of Nollywood Awards also known as Best of Nollywood Awards, which was first held in December 2009, in Ikeja, Lagos is an annual film ceremony that honours exceptional achievements in the Nigerian movie industry aka Nollywood.
Multiple award-winning movie producer, Bamgbola Aliu Adekunle covered himself in glory at the Best of Nollywood Awards 2023 where he clinched the Best Documentary of the year award. Aliu’s “Genuis in Disguise: Demystifying Dyslexia”which had gained widespread acceptance was selected as Best Documentary beating stiff competition from other nominees. Aliu is no stranger to success in the Nigerian movie industry. Described as one of the biggest investors in the Nigerian movie industry, Aliu’s contributions to the development and growth of Nollywood cannot be overemphasized. Well-known for his exquisite fashion sense, Aliu turned heads at the Africa Movie Movie Academy Awards 2023. Aliu received the Best of Nollywood statuette a few days ago which is his first honour for the year. The honour comes weeks after he won the award at the 2023 edition of the prestigious Best of Nollywood Awards. Bamgboka Aliu’s continued progression not only cements his position as one of Africa’s biggest movie investors but also highlights his creativity and passion for excellence in the Nigerian movie industry.
