She urged Nigerians not to allow the economic situation of the country to stop them from exercising their civic responsibilities.

“Nigerians need to calm down, open their mind and be wise. Tinubu is not the cause of the problem ravaging the economy, I believe when he emerges as the President of the Republic of Nigeria all these problems would be resolved,” she said.

Adebari urged Nigerian Muslim women to come out en mass tomorrow to vote for Tinubu and his running mate.”

“Women are the most populated sex in Nigeria, we are the manager of the home that is one of the reasons we must vote for Tinubu, a listening leader to put an end to all the predicament that is affecting our homes,” she said. She added that the organization has engaged in mosques and house sensitisations.

The Grand Patron of CoMWA, Dr Nurudeen Olaleye, said Tinubu deserves the prayer session organized by the group because without God nothing is possible and Nigerians must rally support for him to ensure that he takes Nigeria to the next level.

“Tinubu has done it in Lagos, as we speak. He is the only one that has a clear manifesto to take Nigeria to the next level. Asides from that, the antecedents and history that he built today has made Nigeria proud,” he said

The Ondo State CoMWA coordinator, Hajia Halimah Adam, said the prayer section is going on in all states because the organisation want Tinubu as the president of Nigeria.

“We want our father Asiwaju to be the next president of the federation, so, we pray to Almighty Allah to make it possible and to make it a reality for us. As a Muslim women, a mother, a sister, a wives we know who is there for us and we know who is capable to take us out of the calamity, we are facing. Women we are marginalized, most especially in the southern region part, for that we believe that Tinubu emerging as the president, women will be relief from all hardships,” she said.

Legal Adviser for CoMWA, Bar. Mutiat Orolu-Balogun, said Muslim women have come together to canvas for a candidate that they believe is most suitable to run the affairs of our country.

“As a legal practitioner, citizens have the right to vote and be voted for, they have freedom of association to promote any idea or ideology, so far it is not an ideology that will harm the development of the country and that of the citizens.

“For almost a year now, before Tinubu became the flag bearer of APC, CoMWA had come together to form the association of coalition of Muslim women from all works of life, educated and uneducated, urban and rural women, from all over the country,” she said.
