NAF trainer aircraft crashes in Kaduna

A Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Super Mushshak trainer aircraft crash landed in Kaduna on Thursday, 7 March 2024 at about 2.35pm.


NAF spokesperson, Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet, confirmed the incident in a press release.

According to Gabkwet, the incident which occurred about 3.5 nautical miles from Kaduna Military airfield, involved two pilots.


He said the pilots, who escaped the crash unhurt, were returning from a routine training flight.

The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar has directed preliminary investigation to determine the immediate cause of the crash.
