The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) has disowned a fraudulent recruitment website claiming to represent the commission.

The commission called on Nigerians to be wary of fraudulent recruitment websites, soliciting applications for employment at the commission.

A statement released by the commission noted that NAICOM does not endorse any recruitment website other than its official platform.

It further clarified that NAICOM is not currently conducting any recruitment exercise nor is it offering any grants or financial assistance programmes, adding that any information suggesting otherwise is false and should be disregarded.

“NAICOM shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or inconvenience incurred as a result of engaging with fraudulent recruitment websites or individuals misrepresenting the Commission”, the statement said.

The regulator noted that accurate information regarding the recruitment, grants or any other official communication from NAICOM, should be sought through its recognised communication channels.

“NAICOM shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage or inconvenience incurred due to engaging with fraudulent recruitment websites or individuals misrepresenting the commission.

“For accurate information regarding the recruitment, grants or any other official communication from NAICOM, please refer to our official website or contact us through our recognised communication channels,” Salami said.
