Naira Marly Goes Philosophical; Fans Reactions

Nigerian musician Naira Marley goes philosophical, and Nigerians are reacting to his latest post coupled with his many controversial issues.

Naira Marley is currently passing through troubling times ranging from the investigations concerning the death of his former signee Mohbad to his ongoing case with the EFCC. He is not yet a complete free man.

Taking to his social media, he posted, “The more u look into and understand yourself, the less judgmental you become towards others.”

Naira Marley’s Many Crimes:
Recently, the Lagos State Police announced that they had re-arrested Primeboy Mohbad’s friend and a close associate of Naira Marley regarding the ongoing investigations into the singer’s death. Could his post, therefore, be a reaction to the never-ending saga? A lot of people are still left in limbo.

Recall that his pool of unrest continues to soar, and recently, his ongoing case with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) was stalled.

Naira Marley was accused of different charges, the musician and his accomplices were alleged to have conspired to use different Access Bank ATM cards to defraud their victims.

According to the anti-graft agency, the offences contravene the provisions of Sections 1 23 (1) (b), 27 (1) and 33(9) of the Cyber Crime (Prohibition) Prevention Act, 2015.

How are fans reacting?
When Ramadan started, Naira Marley posted on his “X” page, “DEAR ALLAH, Please accept our fasts & prayers in this beautiful Ramadan.”

The reactions that followed indicate that many Nigerians still hold negative feelings towards the “Soapy” singer.

@Ebenz wrote; “Naira, you have been a despicable person, I’m hoping you will use this Ramadan to ask Allah for forgiveness and change your ways. However, I’m hoping everyone forgives you too and let bygones be bygones. We won’t be streaming your music, btw Hope this help”

Another person wrote: @rr “Whatever you do, even if you pray in Hindu your career fell off. Me and my guys are not streaming your music ever again”
While in a reaction to his somewhat philosophical tweet, an “x” user wrote: “You wey your life and career don spoil”

While the reactions keep pouring in, the singer seems not to be disturbed, as he recently released a new song titled; “Wahala,” detailing the different accounts of his troubled times.
