NAS donates educational materials to school in Edo

As part of efforts to boost learning, the National Association of Seadogs (NAS) has donated educational materials to Owegie Primary School, Orior in Uhunmwonde local government area of Edo State.

The materials include 300 exercise books, 100 maths sets and five marker writing boards. The items were received by the secretary of the council, Mr Lucky Oseye, assisted by the Headmistress of the school, Mrs Martina Areghan.

The captain of Benbow Deck, Dr Chris Ekiyor, said the donation was aimed at complementing the government’s efforts at boosting learning. He said the gesture was also part of the association’s plan to support indigent students and ensure that they don’t drop out of school.

Oseye appreciated the group for the gesture, and tasked others to emulate such by supporting the government in the task of providing qualitative education for all. Arheghan also appreciated NAS for the donation, saying the gesture would enhance reading and learning in the school.
