NCP ends campaign, pledge better welfare

AHEAD the governorship and House of Assembly elections, the National Chairman of National Conscience Party (NCP), Dr. Yinusa Tanko, yesterday led the party in a rally in Lagos.

The campaign train kicked off at Mainland Local Council Secretariat of the party at 77-79, Apapa Road, Ebute Metta West, Lagos. The grand finale will be today in Ondo State.

Tanko said the rally was organized to present NCP’s 31 governorship candidates and others throughout the federation to the electorate.

“The NCP seeks due recognition for its role in the struggle for democracy in Nigeria, led by the late Gani Fawehinmi. We have always been with the people and will continue to keep the people first,” Tanko stated.

He urged the people to come out and exercise their right and vote for NCP in other to retain the legacy of the late Gani Fawehinmi.Some

NCP candidates present at the rally are: Ishola Musbau Agbodemu, contesting for Lagos State House of Assembly seat; the party’s Lagos State governorship candidate, Ayodele Akele and Dr. Adeolu Olusodo, vying for chairmanship in Lagos Mainland, among others.
