Ndukuba commends Chukwuma’s achievements, calls for peaceful polls

Last week Sunday, the headship of the Cathedral Church of the Good Shepherd (Anglican Communion), Enugu, organised a Thanksgiving Service to commemorate the 69th birthday, 42nd wedding anniversary, 42nd Diaconate ordination, 33rd Consecration, 9th Archbishopric Presentation Anniversaries and Divine Healing of the Archbishop of the Ecclesiastical Province of Enugu, the Most Rev. Emmanuel Olisamedualam Chukwuma and his wife, Dr. Joyce N. Chukwuma generally referred to as Diamond Mummy and Mama Province. 


The Archbishop, Metropolitan and Primate of All Nigeria, the Most Rev. Henry Ndukuba officiated the service.

In his sermon, the Archbishop, Metropolitan and Primate of All Nigeria, the Most Rev. Henry C. Ndukuba thanked God for calling Archbishop Chukwuma into the ministry and also for using him greatly in different parts of the country and the world. He commended his achievements in the Dioceses of Bauchi and Enugu.

The Most Rev. Ndukuba urged Nigerians to continue to pray for the nation for a peaceful 2023 General Election.

The Thanksgiving Service featured the unveiling and presentation of the 3rd Volume of Archbishop’s Presidential Addresses and Charges, cutting of anniversary cake and family Special Thanksgiving Service. 

Among those that graced the event were, the Archbishop of the Ecclesiastical Province of Niger and the Bishop of Awka, the Most Rev Alexander C. Ibezim; the Archbishop of the Ecclesiastical Province of Owerri and Bishop of Okigwe South Diocese, the Most Rev. David O. C. Onuoha; the Archbishop of the Ecclesiastical Province of Aba and the Bishop of Isiala Ngwa South Diocese, the Most Rev. Isaac Nwaobia; the wife of the Primate, Mrs. Angela Ndukuba known as Mama Nigeria and many other Archbishops, Bishops and their wives.

Others were government functionaries, captains of industry, a representative of the former Governor of Anambra State and the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi; Prof. Stella Okunna; Prof Ofornze D. Amucheazi and the clergy and their wives.
