New app to improve finance management

A new application developed by Nigerian a United Kingdom-based technology expert is looking at solving financial and social engagement challenges.


The application, called HashIT, is expected to revolutionise social engagement and reward users.

Head of Communications at HashIT App Limited, Flora Kanu, said the initiative, available across mobile platforms, presented a new approach to managing finances, connecting with communities, and enhancing lifestyles.

“The development of the HashIT app has been a meticulous process, incorporating user feedback and leveraging cutting-edge technologies. The result is a comprehensive platform that seamlessly integrates financial transactions, social interaction, artificial intelligence, and lifestyle enrichment all in one easy-to-use application. Users can expect unparalleled convenience, security, engagement, and rewards,” Kanu said.


Kanu expressed excitement about the product’s launch and confidence in its potential impact on users and the Fintech Industry.

She stated: “We are thrilled to announce the beta launch of our revolutionary mobile application that is positioned to change how Nigerians can keep finance and socials in one place.”

Led by U.K.-based tech entrepreneur, Dr. Ike Madu, who is currently the Chief Executive Officer of e-money service company, Kavlr.com, an organisation Kanu said is passionate about prioritising user needs.

The ‘beta’ version of the app, the organisation said, came with key features that showcase commitment to delivering an exceptional user experience.

HashIT app is expected to offer money transfers, virtual cards in USD and Naira, AI-powered ChatGPT technology, utility and bill payment features among others.
