Oladapo ‘OJ’ Adewunmi joins panellists at AfricaNXT confab

Founder/Creative Director of Apollo Endeavor, Oladapo Adewunmi, will join other panellists at AfricaNXT to discuss how African content creators can tap into the $100 billion global creator economy.

The session at AfrixaNXT holding today at Landmark Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, which is expected to gather the largest number of innovators from across Africa and the Diaspora, will feature some of Africa’s thought leaders in the content and creative industries.

Adewunmi said: “I am on a mission to make Africa’s content industry more accessible and profitable. With the work we do at Apollo Endeavor, we want to ensure that more African content creators generate more revenue from their work, while helping in the creation of job opportunities for African youths.

“With over a billion people in Africa, there is a big market for creator platforms. African creators, such as independent writers, artistes, social media influencers, videographers, gamers and podcasters can benefit and earn a living from the growing content industry.”

According to him, with more Africans going spending money online every year, it is becoming easier for African creators to capitalise on this attention and turn it into income.
