Again, cleric raises death threat alarm
FORMER federal lawmaker, Bishop Ezekiel Orhevba, has again raised alarm over insecurity to his life. He said barely 24 hours after fetish objects were placed at the entrance to his residence, unidentified gunmen in the wee hours of yesterday broke into his house but met his absence following counsel from the police.
He told newsmen yesterday in Benin City that the assailants left a note and an animal skull.
The note, according to him, read: “Master key is the answer to all close doors. You are lucky 2:30am.”
Recall that Orhevba had petitioned President Muhammadu Buhari over the ‘unenviable’ state of the beleaguered Federal Psychiatric Hospital, Uselu, Benin City which its chief executive, Dr. Sunny Olotu, had since taken exception to.
Orhevba, for the umpteenth time, stated that his travails began after the letter.
