KWARA State Government has bagged awards as the Most Transparent State Government and the Most Innovative in the country.

The twin awards presented in Lagos over the weekend were given by Nigeria Impact Award powered by Exclusive Magazine.

According to the organizers of the award, the Kwara State Government headed by Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed bagged the award based on its effort to reach out to the people regularly.

The organizers recalled that the state governor commissioners and top government officials have regular interface with the people on radio and television.

In a related development, the First Nigeria Impact Award has voted the Chief Press Secretary to the Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulwahab Oba as the most outstanding Governor’s Spokesman in Nigeria, an award, the organizer explained, was informed by the hard work of Alhaji Oba in ensuring that the public gets regularly informed about government activities.
