Aimiuwu, former NIMN president, dies at 68
Mr. Lugard Aimiuwu, the immediate past president of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria and a Benin High Chief, has passed on, aged 68.
Aimiuwu died in the early hours of yesterday during an illness.
He was President and Chairman Governing Council of the institute between September 2008 and August 2013, as well as President and Chairman of Nigeria Institute of Management between 2003 and 2005.
Aimiuwu held a degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos, and won the university prize for his academic performance.
At a time, he was President of the University of Lagos Alumni Association and chaired the UNILAG Development/Endowment Board for five years. Aimiuwu was also council member, University Governing Council, between 2001 and 2005.
