The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has explained why the names of the seven persons that died in the ill-fated Abuja-bound Dornier-228 aircraft that crashed on Saturday morning in Kaduna cannot be released for now as widely expected.

Reacting to the unfortunate incident, President Muhammadu Buhari, who sent a high-powered delegation to Kaduna yesterday has consoled the families of the victims.

The Director of Public Relations and Information (DoPRI) NAF, Air Commodore Dele Alonge told The Guardian that it is unethical, as the plane that crashed is a military plane conveying military personnel who have families that needs to be contacted first before the necessary publicity can be given, if the need arises.
