Amosun joins federal delegation to France
OGUN State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, yesterday joined the Federal Government delegation, led by President Muhammadu Buhari to France. The trip is said to be aimed at strengthening the bilateral relationship between the two countries.
The governor, during his stay in France is expected to hold meetings with some of the country’s investors.
According to a statement by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Taiwo Adeoluwa, in Abeokuta yesterday, the governor would also sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Lafarge Africa on the re-development of the Aworo Forest Reserves and the Imeko Games Reserves in Yewa North and Imeko-Afon local council areas of the state respectively.
The governor will on Thursday depart France for Saudia Arabia to perform this year’s Hajj.
