The ancient city of Ibadan, Oyo State capital, was on Sunday, December 4, beehive as it embraced the thrills of motorsport, as auto-drifters, super bikers, sports lovers, consumers, indigenes and visitors from across Nigeria, Africa and the world, converged at the Trans-Amusement Park to experience an audacious fun at the Fearless-Fanfaro Autofest 2022.

Powered by the market leading energy drink, Fearless, the autofest according to the Managing Director, Rite Foods Limited, makers of Fearless energy drink and the official sponsor of Fanfaro Autofest 2022, Seleem Adegunwa is to foster sport development and nation building.

He said the company is committed to partnering with initiatives that involve community and nation-building as well as consumer-centric activities that ignite fun amongst people.

“The partnership between Fearless energy drink and Fanfaro Autofest works perfectly. How do you have fun without energy? This is the biggest auto-sport event in the country and you cannot enjoy such an event without an increased boost in your energy levels, whether you are a drifter, biker, lover of the sport or consumer/fan watching the games. The only way you can embrace the thrill of the sport is to be energized, and this is what the Fearless energy drink is providing,” he said.

Adegunwa, who audaciously faced his fears and embraced the thrill of the festival by riding with a drifter, stated that the initiative is in line with the Rite Foods’ vision of promoting sports development and youth empowerment in Nigeria.

On his part, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Fanfaro Oil Nigeria, Adekunle Olanrewaju, commended the Rite Foods and Fearless brand for the sponsorship. He stated that the brand resonates with what the auto sport stands for.

“It is a fearless sport, tough, energetic, with maximum thrills to excite fans, auto lovers and consumers,” he said.

Another fun aspect of the autofest was energetic auto drifts and bike stunts with a Fearless thrill zone, where fans were serenaded with metal PS and virtual reality games, as well as kart racing with a whooping five-million-naira worth of prizes splashed through raffle draws on fans and spectators who came to experience the event.

There were consolation prize of TV sets, laptop computers, blenders, packs of the two flavours of the market-leading energizing Fearless drinks and cash prizes won by fans and consumers, who were refreshed with the Fearless Classic and Red berry flavours.

Sports lovers, consumers, indigenes of the ancient city and visitors who flooded the venue of the motorsport event, were serenaded with musical performances from Brymo, Peruzzi and Kenzo, which added to the thrill of the autofest with alternate sounds from other young and upcoming acts.

Big Brother Naija star and Fearless brand ambassador, Tobi Bakre, attendance doubled the thrills that left fans not energised and entertained into the night but in awe, as they kept asking for more like Oliver Twist.
