Babaloja urges traders to be law-abiding ahead of governorship polls

“It is either your party wins or loses. We should move on with our lives. What happens if you think that a particular party will win and it does not win, after you have already made enemies, ” he admonished.

THE Babaloja of Ladipo Market, Alhaji Abibu Oki Oladotun, has called on the traders to be law-abiding and called for a free and fair elections on April 11. He said there should be no fight by the electorate or the politicians before, during or after the elections.

“It is either your party wins or loses. We should move on with our lives. What happens if you think that a particular party will win and it does not win, after you have already made enemies, ” he admonished.

He urged the traders to pay their taxes to the government as at when due, while waiting on government to play their own part by providing the necessary infrastructure for them to do their businesses.

He said traders should continue to live together in peace and contribute to the development of the market. He added that Ladipo was a very big market with people from different tribes.

“We should make sure that the market is clean. Let us take care of the market. Up to one million people come here everyday.”
