The governor, through his media aide, Mukhtar Gidado, said that Kashim’s re-appointment as SSG was approved for his loyalty.
He said: “His re-appointment is informed by his track record of sincerity, loyalty, commitment and wealth of experience in the discharge of assigned responsibilities. The re-appointment takes immediate effect.”
Kashim had resigned as the SSG to run for the governorship and emerged unopposed at the PDP primary with 655 of the 656 votes.
But on Tuesday, he withdrew from the race to pave the way for Mohammed, who lost at the presidential primary to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
