Bauchi House of Assembly candidate kidnapped

THE All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Bauchi State House of Assembly from Ganjuwa West constituency, Alhaji Yusuf Inuwa Dadiye, has been kidnapped by unknown persons on his way to Miya from Bauchi.

THE All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Bauchi State House of Assembly from Ganjuwa West constituency, Alhaji Yusuf Inuwa Dadiye, has been kidnapped by unknown persons on his way to Miya from Bauchi.

Dadiye was kidnapped last night by gunmen suspected to have been hired by politicians.

Speaking on the incident, the Police Area Commander in charge of the region, Mr. Bassey confirmed the incident but said investigation is ongoing.

Meanwhile, Dadiye’s driver, Danliti Amadu Rungo said the abductors came in a black 406 Peugeot salon car and forced them to stop at gunpoint. He added that they took Dadiye away immediately.

Dadiye’s family and his supporters have called for intensive prayers to seek for divine intervention on the matter.

They called on security agents in the state to embark on intensive search in order to rescue the candidate from captivity.
