Benson Idahosa varsity names Utomi Pro-chancellor

The management of Benson Idahosa University (BIU), Edo State yesterday confirmed Professor Pat Utomi as the institution’s third Pro-chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council.
The management of Benson Idahosa University (BIU), Edo State yesterday confirmed Professor Pat Utomi as the institution’s third Pro-chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council.
Utomi, who is a professor of Political Economy and management expert, is also founder, Centre for Values in Leadership (CVL). Chancellor of the university, Archbishop Margaret Benson-Idahosa, charged Utomi to work with members of the university’s management team to achieve the mandate and goals of the founder, the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa.
Responding, Utomi pledged to reach out and work with all stakeholders of the institution to achieve the vision of its founder.Vice Chancellor of BIU, Professor Sam Guobadia, appreciated Margaret Benson-Idahosa for her support for the set goals and efforts at realising the founder’s vision.
