Buhari meets Jonathan, Obasanjo behind closed doors
PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari, at different times last week, was said to have played host to two former presidents, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, in quick succession at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The two leaders were said to have met Buhari behind closed-doors inside the President’s official residence between Thursday and Friday evening. But details of their discussions remained unknown as at yesterday.
Jonathan, it was said, was the first to meet Buhari on Thursday, while Obasanjo met him on Friday. Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, confirmed the meetings the two leaders had with his boss but did not offer further comments on the purpose.
