Buhari’s Wife Asks Governors’ Wives To Support Their Husbands

WIFE of the President, Mrs. Aisha Buhari has called on wives of State Governors to support their husbands in fulfilling their campaign promises, saying it would help them to meet the expectations of improved welfare.

A statement from her media office in Abuja yesterday, quoted the President’s wife as throwing the challenge at the flag off of the South East Zone of the Health screening initiative designed for women across the country.

She believed that the support to state governors would complement their efforts to provide adequate healthcare and other demands of the people for the progress, unity and development of the country, in line with the aspirations of the federal government.

She said that the initiative was meant to address issues of health challenge confronting women, particularly those in the rural areas that needed access to remedial measures.
